Last month, I got to experience what the Guildford gaming industry has been working on at guildford.games Festival 2025.
It was inspiring! It gave me a huge boost of motivation to finish Last One Flying.
Try out the latest changes to the game now!
What's New?
- Added music to the game:
- Main Theme (Plays in main menu)
- Battle Theme (Plays in-game)
- Added sound effects to the game:
- Explosion
- Player Laser Beam
- Enemy Laser Beam
- Low Health Warning
- Stat Reveal (Game Over)
- Added Full Screen Toggle to main menu and pause menu
- Added grace period after player respawns
- Loading bar
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Removed mouse controls
- Touch controls updated:
- Left joystick only controls forward and backwards movement
- Right joystick controls rotation
- Player automatic fires lasers s long as they are holding down the right joystick
- Removed "fire" button
- Enemies and enemy laser beams more faster
What's Next?
- Implement in-game sound toggle
- Menu item sound effects:
- Item selection sound
- Item hover sound
- Add game controls in-game (because some of you aren't reading the instructions on the itch.io page 😆)!
- Full game release!
